Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
3+ years of electronics product development or electronics product testing
Preferred skills and experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with electronics skillset.
Proven technical experience through internships, industry, passion projects, academic/ extracurricular activities
Root cause and recreate failure mode
Analyze test data and document in test reports, share results with the team to understand failures and improve designs
Build the appropriate electrical environment for each unit being tested, reaching out to firmware and hardware teams to bring up the device under test
Excellent grasp of engineering fundamentals with experience using standard lab equipment (power supplies, electronic loads, o-scopes, DMM’s, etc.)
Genuine curiosity to figure out why something doesn’t work; demonstrated experience debugging and troubleshooting technical problems
You love to be hands-on, understand how to interact with a system and automate repeatable tasks. You thrive on efficiency, and hate to see someone waste their time on something a script, fixture, or robotic system could do
Knowledge of different sensors, what they do, and how to interact with them
Embedded firmware / hardware experience
Experience leading and driving technical projects to completion, especially when multiple teams’ input and buyoff are required
Comfort with balancing competing priorities and timelines, discussing prioritization and alignment of work with external teams when resources are constrained
