Overview
National Salvage & Service Corporation is an industry leader. National is seeking two hardworking Wood Yard Operators for its Viking Energy McBain facility. Must be punctual and capable to operate various machinery and performing preventive maintenance on various fuel handling equipment.
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Operating skid steers, wood grinders, front-end loaders, and grapple truck.
Perform preventive, corrective maintenance on various pieces of equipment as assigned by the Wood Yard Manager.
Must be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment
Must have knowledge of basic tools.
Collaboration with team members in a structured environment
Consistent and accurate work quality.
Filling out daily paperwork and working independently
Wearing personal protective equipment is required
All candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
POSITION-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
Able to work long hours in all weather conditions, work some Saturdays
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork
Basic mechanical knowledge
Follow all Safety Programs, Policies, and Procedures
