Overview

As a member of the Flint Production Assembly Team, you will be responsible for performing all jobs in the work cell to build quality seats in an efficient manner.

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

 

Assuring safety standards are followed at all times, reporting all accidents and near misses
Identifying safety issues and helping to resolve concerns
Driving 5S in the area and hold others accountable to 5S World Class Housekeeping standards
Identifying scrap, defects, or quality issues as they appear and review quality alerts and metrics
Ensuring work is done, the right way the first time to deliver the right quality to our customer
Reading Liaison reports to make improvements and correct issues
Completing all repairs they can in station
Ensuring poka-yokes in place
Assuring safety, quality, production, and work standards are always followed
Driving and contributing to continuous improvement suggestions and projects
Adhering to and measuring line KPI’s
Inspecting equipment, tools, structures, or materials to identify repair needs or other problems or defects
Learning and rotating through all the tasks in the team cell
Meeting/exceeding line efficiency targets to ensure customer delivery is achieved

Your Qualifications (Minimum Qualifications):

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to work overtime & weekends
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 

Bonus If You Have (Preferred Qualifications):

Previous manufacturing experience
Ability to work any shift
 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving your whole body
Physical ability to lift, carry, and/or move heavy objects
Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and operate pneumatic tools
Physical ability to make fast, simple, repetitive movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
