Dow how has an exciting opportunity for an IT and Digital Change Manager located in the Midland, MI; Collegeville, PA; Freeport, TX; Houston, TX; São Paulo, Brazil; or Terneuzen, Netherlands. About you and this role

 

The Enterprise Change and Portfolio Management Team is looking to hire an IT and Digital Change Manager. Within this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing change and communication plans and strategies to facilitate the company’s digital transformation initiatives and the integration of evolving technologies across the enterprise. You will work closely with stakeholders from IT and various businesses and functions. In this role, you will plan, execute, and oversee change activities, aiming to enhance the employee experience, minimize disruptions, and drive adoption to optimize the benefits of change.

 

The IT and Digital Change Manager will also offer coaching and advising on change and communication activities to individuals looking for ideas and direction. Additionally, you will collaborate with project managers to integrate effective change and communication plans into project scopes. You will be part of a team comprising of change and communication experts who collaborate to learn and share best practices, ideas, and strategies. The scope of work will align to IT Services and IT Digital initiatives.  

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Develops and implements change and communication strategies and plans to support IT projects and digital initiatives
Develops and implements change management strategies to support the adoption of new technology and processes
Performs risk assessments on the impact of the proposed change
Facilitates change management meetings, workshops, and potential training sessions to promote awareness and understanding of upcoming change
Engages with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the change lifecycle
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of change management activities, and making continuous improvements based on feedback and lessons learned, including measuring adoption of the new solution
Communicates progress, issues, and challenges related to change initiatives to relevant stakeholders and leadership
Stays up to date on IT Service and Digital roadmaps on emerging and changing technologies to plan for change strategy across the organization
Continues to remain educated and up to date on change management tools, methodologies, and best practices  
 

 

Qualifications

 

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at an E6 rank/Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher is required
A minimum of 5 years of relevant change management experience
For U.S. Applicants: A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
 

 

Preferred Skills

 

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies
Relevant certifications, such as Prosci
Strong writing skills
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills
